Family Therapy Arts

We believe healing is a journey of both the body, mind, and the heart. Sometimes, the path to understanding isn't found in a straight line, but through the creative process of discovery.

Our Mission

"Empowering people to find clarity and connection through holistic, creative arts-based care.”

Our Approach

We provide a holistic space where clinical expertise meets artistic exploration. Whether your family is navigating a difficult transition, seeking to resolve conflict, or simply looking to deepen your emotional connection, we offer a path forward that honors the whole person.

By integrating transpersonal techniques, Drama Therapy, and the creative arts, we guide you to move beyond the surface of the everyday and bridge the distance between you—refocusing your energy on what truly matters: Each Other.

How We Work

  • Weekly Virtual Sessions: Consistent "rehearsal" from your own space to unmask old roles and draft new ones.

  • Monthly In-Person Intensives: I travel to a neutral location near you to embody the new script. We move the progress from a "good idea" in your head to a tangible, physical strength in your body.

The Developing Child

“We need four hugs a day for survival, eight hugs a day for maintenance, and twelve hugs a day for growth.” ~Virginia Satir

The Emerging Adult

Family life isn’t a scripted performance—it’s a living, breathing story that sometimes gets stuck in a heavy drama. When the "roles" we play at home feel restrictive or the dialogue turns into a repetitive loop, it’s time to move beyond just talking.

We offer a hybrid approach to healing: the flexibility of Online Drama Therapy combined with Monthly In-Person Intensives where I travel to a neutral location near you. By bringing "play" into the room—both virtually and physically—we lower the stakes, break down defenses, and help your family discover a more flexible way of relating to one another.

"Every human being is an artist and in the moment of creation, we are at our most sane, most healthy, and most fulfilled". ~Robert Alexander

Why Play is Our Most Powerful Tool

In a world that often feels heavy, play is a serious tool for healing. It allows your family members to experiment with new behaviors without the fear of "getting it wrong." Through our sessions, you will:

Step Into Another’s Shoes: Use role-reversal—whether on screen or in person—to see the family dynamic from a completely different perspective.

Rehearse the Hard Parts: Use structured role-play to practice difficult conversations in a safe, "as-if" space before the "curtain rises" on real-life challenges.

Improvise Solutions: Engage in spontaneous play to disrupt repetitive loops. When you change the "game," the old conflict loses its momentum and no longer fits the script.

Externalize the Problem: We separate the person from the conflict by treating the issue as an external "character." This shifts the dynamic, allowing your family to stop playing opposing roles and start collaborating as an ensemble to transform the problem.
