Intensives

Weekly sessions build awareness, week by week. An Intensive is where that awareness becomes embodied — a dedicated stretch of time, away from the usual routine, to work through what's been surfacing using psychodrama: the themes you've been circling finally get a stage, a scene, a physical shape you can step into and change.

Where the Work You've Been Doing Becomes the Change You Can Feel

The Rehearsal Space
the Format

Every Intensive is customizable to what your family or you actually need — from a focused 3–5 hour session to a fully structured weekend experience. There's no single script; the length and structure are built around the work that's ready to happen.

In the Scene

What Actually Happens

Using psychodrama, we take the themes that have been emerging in your weekly sessions — the recurring conflict, the role you keep getting stuck in, the thing that's hard to say out loud — and give them a physical, embodied form. Instead of talking about the pattern, you step into it, act it out, and rehearse it differently, with guidance, in a contained and safe space. Intensives function similarly to group work — even within a single family, everyone present becomes both participant and witness, which is part of what makes the change land differently than it does in individual conversation. It's the difference between understanding a change intellectually and actually feeling what it's like to make it.

Behind the Direction
Our Approach: Transpersonal Drama Therapy

Intensives are rooted in transpersonal drama therapy, in the lineage of Saphira Linden's Omega Theater training — clinical work that treats the body, the psyche, and the spirit as one integrated system, moving from awareness and healing toward integration and a life that reflects the truth uncovered along the way. In session, we draw most directly on the principles of narrative, understanding your story as something that can be examined and rewritten rather than fixed; embodiment, working through the body since patterns often live in the nervous system before they live in language; role theory, identifying the roles you've learned to play and building the capacity to step into new ones; and parts work, recognizing that you're made up of multiple parts, each carrying its own role or need, and building relationship between them rather than forcing one to dominate.

The Set
Where We Meet

Every location is chosen for privacy first. Depending on the work and the format, an Intensive might take place in a small studio space (dance or yoga-style), a private office, a community hall within a recreation center, or — for larger or more theatrical work — an actual theater with a stage, a ballroom, or a conference center. Wherever we meet, confidentiality is built into the choice of space, not an afterthought.

The Ensemble
Who Intensives Are For

Intensives work for the same families and individuals we support in weekly work — they're most often a next step once themes have started surfacing that are ready for deeper, embodied integration. We also offer Specialized Intensives — run as multi-person cohort groups built around a shared focus, bringing together individuals working through similar themes: Inner Child Work, Woman's Journey, Creative Arts Groups, and Blended Families.

Investment

Intensives range from $375–$500+ depending on length and format. Specialized Intensives, such as Inner Child Work or Woman's Journey, begin at $750. We work with most major insurances, along with private pay and copayment options — during your free consultation, we'll talk through what fits your family and your coverage.

Creative Consulting

For clinicians, mental health and holistic practitioners, educators, and interns. Beyond client-facing work, we offer professional development for those working in or entering the field: training in applying principles of drama therapy to clinical practice, and clinical supervision for interns working toward licensure or certification.
